Floyd Foister Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Floyd "Ed" Eddie Foister, who left this world peacefully on December 20, 2024, at the age of 73. Born in Johnson City, Tennessee, Floyd was a devoted husband and Father. He was a hardworking individual, and a cherished member of the Jonesborough community. He was committed to his family and to Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church.
Floyd was preceded in death by parents Clyde & Edith Foister.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jo Ann Foister, with whom he shared his life and countless moments of joy. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Three sons John Foister (Lindy), Andy Foister (Jennifer), Phillp Pierce (Ashley); Grandchildren Mason, Brandy, Katelyn, Brenley, Aubrey, Cameron, and Sidney; sister Diane Bacon (Larry); two brothers Bobby Foister, Perry Foister.
The Foister family will receive friends at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church Sunday December 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 Pm. Funeral Service will follow at 5:30 PM. A graveside service will be held Monday December 23, 2024 at 12 noon at Roselawn Memorial Park. The services will be officiated by Pastor Perry Cleek.
Floyd Eddie Foister will be deeply missed, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life. May he rest in peace.
