JONESBOROUGH - Wanda Faye Davis, 83, Jonesborough went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July, 18 2025 at her residence. She was a native of Washington County, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Nathan and Laura Murray. Mrs. Davis was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. She and her late husband Paul provided an amazing home and life for their only daughter Angela. Mrs. Davis enjoyed working in her flowers and beach trips with her family.
In addition to her husband, Paul Andrew Davis, she was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Pansy Harmon, Ethel Slagle and Bertha Ford; her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Slagle, Roy Harmon and Dennis Davis; her father and mother-in-law, Carl and Hazel Carr Davis; and a great-great-nephew Aiden Stewart.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Nicole Jackson and husband, Jeff of Johnson City; her brothers, Tex Murray and wife, Dorothy, Clyde Murray; brothers-in-law Ray Ford and Wayne Davis and wife, Phyllis; also many nieces and nephews. And many special family members, close friends and neighbors that reached out to her often to check in on her and offer friendship and comfort. You each know who you are. The family would like to offer special thanks to those special individuals. It was Mrs. Davis's wish to be cremated and no formal services.
