ELIZABETHTON - Judith Yvonne Cole, age 85, of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from Sycamore Springs Assisted Living in Elizabethton. Judith was born in Elizabethton to the late Burley Doran Cole and Bonita Lucille (Mabrey) Cole. In addition to her parents, Judith was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry William Cole.

Judith retired from the Railroad Department and was a member of First Baptist Church of Elizabethton. She loved traveling and was a cat lover.

Those left to cherish Judith's memory include two nieces, Rebecca Cole Brown and husband Mike of Commerce, GA and Bethany Cole Russell and husband Scottie of Alcoa, TN; one nephew, Benjamin Lee Cole and wife Karen of Knoxville; her great nieces and nephew, Sameul Lee Brown, Maxwell Cole Brown, Annie Rebecca Brown, Madeline Arden Russell, and Taylor LeeAnn Russell, Ella Grace Cole and Bode William Cole. Several cousins and extended family also survive.

A celebration of Judith's life will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with Pastor Todd Hallman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Sunday.

A private graveside service will be conducted at a later time.
