Georgia Evans Obituary

HAMPTON - Georgia Rose Evans of Hampton, TN passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, with her family by her side.
Lovingly known as "Rose" and most cherished as "Mimi," she was a devoted mother to her two children, Jamison and Janna, and a proud grandmother to her five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Harrison, Addison, Jon-Grayson, and Emerson. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she adored them beyond measure.
A Registered Nurse by profession and by heart, Rose cared deeply for others and gave selflessly throughout her life. She believed everything is better outside, lived simply, and never needed much-only the love of her family and the peace of nature.
The family extends a heartfelt and sincere thank you to her honorable sister, Sandy, who stood by her and helped her in more ways than one.
She will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and the endless love she gave so freely.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Teague Cemetery in Hampton, TN with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and Friends are requested to assemble at the cemetery prior to the start of the service. We send our love to Jamison and Janna. You were everything to your sweet Mom. She leaves a huge hole in our hearts and will be missed tremendously. Rose was a staple at St. Marys School for many years with a quick laugh, generous spirit and boundless energy. We are so sorry and send our heartfelt condolences to all your family.

I was privileged to know Rose and work with her for years. She was a devoted mother and one of the most skilled & caring nurses I ever worked with. She will be missed.

Rose was one of the most beautiful, people I was fortunate enough to know in my life. I worked with her in ICU at Memorial Hospital in the early '70s. She was the Charge Nurse and I was the ward clerk. She was so smart and kept her head in an emergency. She knew just what to do! She was a good part of the reason I became a nurse. She was so beautiful, with a heart of gold.
