I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs.Thomas. She was apart of my life as a child, and I´ll always have her in my heart! I was very blessed to see her, and to my surprise she remembered me!! She did know where everything was in that hardware store. She would always give me a lollipop or a small piece of candy, I enjoyed hanging out with her, and listening to a story. I loved to stop by and say "Hey Mrs.Thomas"!!! And give her a wave, as I rode by on my bike, in bluff city. I´m thankful to have had such a wonderful person in my lifetime, and to have had the pleasure in being apart of hers as well.. Much love to you Mrs.Thomas Lola Gina Pantuso Treadway

Always enjoyed going to the hardware store if I needed something. But we always ended up visiting for a while. She was a wonderful person.

Such a lovely lady. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word and she knew the hardware business very well.
Mr. And Mrs. Thomas were our first landlords when Claudia and I married.

I've known Betty since the early 1980's and worked for her and Forrest for several years. I couldn't have been treated any better by her if I had been her son. She was just a great person to work for and to be around.

Betty and Forrest Thomas were not only members of the First Baptist Church of Bluff City, but they were significant members who loved the Lord and was faithful to His church in many ways. My father, Dr. Charles Earl, was pastor there in the late 1960's and early 70's. Betty and Forrest were very active members in their attendance, tithes, and other functions of the church. Betty, as I remember her, was a very beautiful lady. She was tall and always dressed to the "T's". She was soft spoken and always had a smile on her face. My condolences to Gail and other family members. May God wrap His loving arms around you and give you peace.
