GRAY - Virginia Kay Adams, 79, of Gray, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
A lifelong resident of Gray, Virginia was born on October 13, 1946, in the Oak Grove Community to the late Ted and Verna Gouge. She was a graduate of Boones Creek High School and spent many years as a dedicated employee, working for North Electric (later ITT Electric), Parks Belk Service Center in Gray, and retiring from TJ Maxx in Johnson City after more than 20 years of service.
On October 29, 1977, Virginia married the love of her life, Ben Adams. In her free time, she found joy in cross stitching and gardening. She was a longtime and faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A private family burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Dear Mr.Ben Adam's. I think you will remember me. I am Jolene Rupe's daughter, Your neighbor across the road. I am so sorry Virginia passed. She was always so sweet to me. I have known her since she lived with her dear Mother. A Beautiful Lady. I remember her bringing my Mom lettuce from her little Garden. You and her even brought me some back in 2018. I pray God comforts you each and everyday.
It just sad. You take care. She would want you to.
