Shannon Charlton Obituary

Shannon Lynn Charlton (Collins)

November 17, 2025

On the evening of November 17, 2025, Shannon Lynn Charlton (Collins) joined her sister Felecia Blevins and more loved ones who had previously gone on to be with the Lord.

Shannon was a loving wife to her surviving husband of 22 years John Alston Charlton. They created several beautiful and meaningful memories with one another over their years of marriage. Shannon also leaves behind a daughter from her first marriage Justine Mae Faataui-Tom. Her daughter was the apple of her eye. Their bond was like no other. Family meant everything to Shannon. She fought till her last breath for those she loved so dearly.

Shannon had dedicated a good portion of her life as a Registered Nurse. She spent nearly 15 years working in Dialysis. As a nurse Shannon wanted to make sure her patients felt cared for out of compassion and kindness. Shannon was a daughter, mother, wife, and friend to so many. She was always smiling and never met a stranger.

She leaves behind several adoring family members and friends such as; Kendall Faataui-Tom (Husband of Justine) and their two kids Nova and Nalu, (Her parents) Frank and Sheila Collins, (In laws) Jeep and Marianne Dye, John and Marilyn Charlton (Sister) Christine Collins Hartley, (Nieces)Allishia and Felecity, (Nephew) Cameron, (Aunt) Sandra Tester and her husband Dale Tester, (Uncle) David Grindstaff, (Uncle) Tommy and Kathy Murray (Cousins) Susanne Harrison, Jazmyne Harrison, Grady Tester, and Brittany Murray. Then a countless number of friends and even more family members who cherished her dearly.

Shannon's family will be accepting friends and family at Calvary Church located at 178 S Pickens Bridge Rd on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM with the service starting at 6:30 PM. The service will be led by Pastor Nathan Livingston.
