Trudy Shearin Obituary

JOHNSON CITY - Trudy Archer Shearin, 78, of Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at her home.
Born in Elizabethton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha McCracken Archer.
Trudy was a graduate of University School and a member of Hopwood Christian Church.
She had a green thumb and loved spending time outdoors. Whether it was sunning, floating in water, or relaxing at the lake, she found joy in nature. Trudy especially loved traveling to the beach, her happy place. She had a passion for capturing memories and was rarely without her camera, taking countless photos on vacations and everyday moments. Trudy lovingly compiled many photo albums, preserving those memories for her family. A natural caretaker, she cherished taking care of others, especially her beloved grandbabies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Shearin; son, Jason Shearin; and sister, Sarah Roller.
Survivors include her daughter, Chandra Shearin; grandsons, Stone Shearin (Jasmine) and Hunter Hensley (Ashlynn); great-grandchildren, Kaysen Shearin and Baby Shearin; sister, Alice Archer; brother, Steven Archer (Lisa); and several nieces and nephews, including a special great-niece, Madeline Sara Morgan.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Tetrick Funeral Services in Johnson City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tetrick Funeral Services to help with Trudy's final expenses.
