Tommie Lou Pierson September 27, 1957 - April 11, 2024

Tommie Lou Pierson, 66, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 1:06 am, following open heart surgery complications.

Tommie was born on September 27, 1957.

She had a love for gardening, being outdoors, and loved helping people. Tommie was one of the rare kind that could instantly make you feel better by walking in the room. She was always willing to help or to listen, not because she had to, but because she genuinely cared. She was a blessing to all that knew her. Her memory will always be a bright spot in our hearts and one of our most cherished possessions.

She was preceded in death by: both parents, two brothers, and a grandson.

Tommie is survived by: two daughters, Lora Mullins of Fall Branch, Tennessee and Jonie Hill (husband Jason) of Norton, Virginia; two sisters, Kathy Pickett (husband Ron) of Millersville, Missouri and Tammie Lancaster of St. Louis, Missouri; a special and loving friend, Lewis Reed; five grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; multiple foster grandchildren; and multiple close and very special friends that she considered family whom she held close to her heart and loved very much.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, located at 284 Mount Zion Church Road Jonesborough, Tennessee 37659.
