JOHNSON CITY - Suzan "Susie" Sell Mitchell, age 63 of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on December 23, 2024. Susie dedicated her life to helping children as director of Washington County Juvenile Court for more than 23 years. She was a avid supporter of the Washington County Humane Society and Tunnel to Towers. She was also one of The Tennessee Vols most loyal fans.
Susie was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Mitchell of Johnson City, and her father, Roy Griffin, Jr. of Knoxville. She was survived by her husband, Bradley Winstead, and her sister, Julie Griffin, as well as her fur babies.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
