JOHNSON CITY - Mrs. Sibrina Lynn Barnett, age 53, Johnson City, Died October 5, 2024, due to flooding of the Nolichucky River from remnants of Hurricane Helene. She was the daughter of Harold Smith Jr and the late Ethel Mae Stoud Garst.

Sibrina was also preceded in death by her son Jeremy Clay.

Sibrina was a hard worker, she worked with her sister in a cleaning business. She was a lovable person and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Barnett, her son Caimen Barnett, her daughter Jyssica Clay-Jianniney, three grandchildren Aubrey Clay-Jianniney, Summer Zakerski, and Savannah Zakerski; her step mother Mary Smith, her sister Karen Jianniney (Charles), three brothers, Harold Smith III (Paula), Daniel Smith (Jaqueline), Allen Smith; Stepdad Dennis Garst, two step sisters, Darlene Francis (Roy), and Erma Scott (Michael), father and mother in law Jerry and Mary Ann Barnett, brother in law Toby Barnett ( Samantha) sister in law Lisa Barnett, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life service for Sibrina will be Sunday October 13, 2024 7:30 PM at Fairview Methodist Church, 878 TN-81 Jonesborough, TN 37659.
