It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Anne Behtz, who left this life on February 23rd at the age of 48. Sarah was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Behtz. She is lovingly remembered by her father, Edward Behtz, and his wife, Janis; her brother, Thomas Behtz, and sister-in-law, Kathy; her nieces, Emily Behtz and Erin Love (husband, Julian); along with loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Sarah will be remembered for her compassionate heart, sense of humor, creativity, and dedication to her family, Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A service to celebrate and honor Sarah's life will be held on March 6th at 1pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Medical Education & Research Institute, Memphis, TN in her memory.
