ELIZABETHTON - Ruby Inez Allman Garrison, age 80, of Elizabethton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at her home. Ruby was born in Weaverville, North Carolina to the late Fred and Margaret Bruce Allman. In addition to her parents, Ruby was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Allman.

Ruby retired from Walmart as a cashier in the clothing department. She was a member of Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church and a wonderful wife and mother.

Those left to cherish and remember Ruby include her beloved husband of 60 years, Frank Lowell Garrison of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Vanessa Garrison of Morristown; and three sisters, Annie Lee Garrison, Mary Frances Owenby and Phyllis Miller. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of Ruby's life will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with Reverend Jamie Ferguson, Reverend Rusty Verran and Reverend Scott Greene officiating. Music will be under the direction of Randy and Vanessa Garrison. The family will receive friends between the hours of 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Monday.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ken Barrickman, David Long, Garrett Deloach, Gary Deloach, Ken McKinney and Steve Hodge. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 PM on Monday.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Garrison during her illness.
