HAMPTON - Richard Dale Smith, 73, Hampton, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born January 26, 1952 in Banner Elk, North Carolina. He retired as Lift Maintenance Manager of the Beech Mountain Ski Resort. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Lillian Smith and a Grandson: Eli Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years: Audrey Shell Smith. Two Children: Chad (Lisa) Smith and Kevin (Marissa) Smith. His Granddaughter, who was the love of his life: Ava Smith. Two Grandchildren: Tyler Smith and Katelyn Thomas. Two Brothers: Denver (Tammy) Smith and Tom Campbell. His four legged furry buddy "Pickle".

Richard was a organ donor. It was his wish to be cremated. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
