ERWIN - Rexanna "Ann" M. (Lewis) Keesecker, of Erwin, Tn. Passed away peacefully at her home Monday, February 5th at the age of 79. A native of Erwin, Ann is a daughter of the late Charles Rexter "Rex" and Hazel (McCurry) Lewis. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Erwin and was formerly employed by Dr. Joe Chambers Optometry. She enjoyed Cross stitch, gardening and most especially, entertaining at Squaw Valley with her husband of 58 years, John Keesecker, who passed in January of 2022. Proceeding his death, her health began to decline. Ann Mourned her husband and her two late sons, John Mark Keesecker who passed in March 2007 and Matthew Lewis Keesecker who passed in October 2014 as well as the loss of her grandson Jordan Lucas Keesecker in 2020 and was forever changed after these losses. Ann lived a long life and experienced great grief, but her Christian faith kept her spirit strong and carried her through with a smile on her face.
Ann leaves behind a legacy of hope to those who cherish her memory: Grandchildren: Ryan Matthew Keesecker and wife Destany and Bethany Faye (Keesecker) Steele and husband Jayson. Great-grandchildren: Jordan Orion Keesecker and Emerson Scott Matthew Steele. Several Nieces, nephews, close in-laws and other family members.
Ann never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. Her relationships with those she loved proved that you don't have to be a biological family member to be in her family. She leaves behind very special lifelong friends Martha "Twerpy" and Rob Stromberg and Suzie and Steve Cradic.
The family would like to recognize the special relationship, love and care offered from Lisa Hughes and from the time of "boys will be boys", The Band of Brothers. A very special thanks to so many friends, family and neighbors that called on Ann and shared fellowship with her in the last 2 years.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Rexanna "Ann" Keesecker in a funeral service to be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home.
