Rebecca "Becky" King Wyatt, 69, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2023.
She was born in Bristol, VA to the late Maxwell & Frances King on June 28, 1954.
After graduating Virginia High, Becky pursued her Bachelors Degree from Sullivan University.
Becky thoroughly enjoyed Volunteer work and helping others. Serving others was both a professional and personal focus and source of fulfillment. Needless to say, for those that knew Becky, her favorite team was the Tennessee Volunteers. Regardless of the sport, she let you know about "them Vols". How they were doing, how they were looking for next week's matchup and what needed improvement were all areas of expertise. Becky had a special place in her heart for animals, and Schnauzers earned a top spot on her list. She vehemently loved her friends and family members. Becky never shied away from tough conversations if she had the opportunity to help someone in need. However, her primary goal and driving force was being the best mother to her son possible. She loved being a baseball mom and her son's biggest fan. She loved telling others about her son's achievements and future endeavors. The support and stability she provided the household was unmatched. Becky was a shining example of success in all aspects of motherhood.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ben (Megan), sisters Maxine and Patricia, a host of nieces, nephew and cousins, along with several special, lifelong friends.
The family of Becky invites you to join them for a Celebration of Life from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, November 25th at Tetrick Funeral Services Chapel in Johnson City, TN. Those that attend are encouraged to wear Becky's favorite color, Tennessee Orange.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Appalachia Service Project in Becky's honor.
