Ralph Hill Obituary

January 1, 1965 – December 21, 2023

JONESBOROUGH - Ralph M. Hill, Jr, 58, of Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born in Johnson City, January 1, 1965, to the late Ralph M. Hill, Sr and Nina J. Hill (Heneger).

Ralph lived most of his life in Jonesborough. He was a welder/fabricator by trade and at one time was a member of Local 538. Although he was a welder by trade, there wasn't anything he couldn't accomplish once he set his mind to it. He had many interests: however, his passions were dirt track racing and music. Ralph never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cindy Hill; one brother David Hill (Renee), of Mills River, NC; one daughter, Hailey Hill, of Rogersville; two grandsons Alex and Bentley. Nephews Daniel (Jaika), Fletcher, NC; Joshua Hill (Megan), Hendersonville, NC. Great-nephews Colton, Jenson, Tallon, Lawson, Barrett and Gunner.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Johnson City Medical Center nurses on 3300, Ballad Hospice, Palative Care and ETSU Physicians for their care.

Ralph chose to donate his body to the Quillen College of Medicine for research. As per his request there will be no services. Condolences may be sent to his family at 167 Hartman Dr, Jonesborough, TN 37659.
