Perry William Francis, Jr., November 9, 1931 - April 16, 2024
Ephesians 6:1-4 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother" which is the first commandment with a promise "so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." Fathers do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

I am Junior´s first cousin on his mother´s side of the family. Some of you may recall my mother, Goldie Sue Fry, of Bakersville, NC. She raised six of us children by herself after our father passed away when we were young. We called Perry "Junior" at that time to distinguish him from his father. He would occasionally come to visit us in Bakersville with his parents, and we looked forward to that because he would always sing "Cabbage With A Mustache" to us and we would laugh and laugh with him. My sister Eleanor and I spent a week with his family when we were very young, so Rickey and David may have a vague memory of us. As with a lot of families, we lost track over the years, and most of us moved hundreds of miles away. I live in Loganville, GA with my family, and I only saw Junior once after that at a family funeral. We enjoyed getting to see him again, and remembering how much we loved to hear him sing. It is wonderful to know he was a Christian and is in the arms of Jesus.
Sincere sympathy to his family. Betsy Fry Nolen
