Our beloved mother, Peggy Ann White, age 76 went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 7th 2023 peacefully with her family by her side after a brief illness. Peggy was a lifelong native of Unicoi County and a graduate of Unicoi County High School. She received her Associates degree in Business from Northeast State and retired from Siemens after 30 years of service.
Peggy was an avid outdoors woman. She loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed sharing her knowledge of living off the land. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed telling stories of family and its ancestries. She spent much of her free time writing in her journal of her life and adventures.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Eli and Sarah (Woodby) White, her beloved husband of 30 years Larry White, two sisters, Patsy White and Brenda Wilson, brother Dwight "Ike" White and son-in-law Gary Bowen. Left to mourn her loss: three daughters Libby Lewis, Mitzi Bowen, Dede Cooper, two sons Jeff White and Wes White (Megan). Six grandchildren; Brian Bowen (Kayla), Heather Adams (Jonathan), Jada Collins, Taylor Collins, Aaron White and Tucker White. Three great grandchildren: Madi Bowen, Marlee Powell and Ember Adams. Sister Mitzi Hyder, brothers Kenneth White, David White and James White and several nieces and nephews.

Libby, Mitzi, Dede - my condolences to you and the entire family. Your Mom holds a very special place in my heart. She was trusted co-worker who was meticulous in her job. Besides working / learning from her, I was also lucky enough to call her a friend and hunting buddy. I have many fond memories of hunting the farm with her and Larry. You all are in my prayers during this difficult time.
