Mostafa Abolfathi Obituary

With deep sorrow and enduring love, the family of Mostafa "Moe" Abolfathi, 64, announce his passing March 11, 2025, at Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital. Mostafa passed away due to medical complications following an accident in his workshop. A celebration of his life with his family and friends took place April 13 in Casselberry.
A devoted husband, father and cherished friend, Mostafa was born Aug. 9, 1960, in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Orlando in 1986, where he built a life filled with purpose, family and craftsmanship.
Mostafa is survived by his loving wife of 24 years and their two daughters. He was preceded in death by his beloved father and brother.
A master cabinetmaker by trade, Mostafa dedicated nearly four decades to his craft, gaining a reputation as a talented artisan in DeLand. His legacy lives on, not only in the finely crafted pieces he left behind, but in the countless lives he touched with his integrity, kindness and quiet strength.
