ELIZABETHTON - Moira Oliver, age 87, of Elizabethton, TN, passed away on January 2, 2024. She was born on May 29, 1936. Moira had a remarkable career in nursing, dedicating 40 years of her life to caring for others. She was known for her creativity, sense of humor, and her deep love for her dogs.
Moira will be fondly remembered as a loving friend, wife, and mother. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Oliver; her two sons, Wayne and Kevin Cartwright, as well as her two stepsons, Larry and Geoffrey Oliver, and her two stepdaughters, Andrea Oliver Rothenberger and Amanda Oliver.
In her free time, Moira enjoyed pursuing her hobbies and spending time with her loved ones. We'd like to honor Moira's memory by cherishing the time we spent with her and reflecting on the impact she made in our lives.
Moira Oliver will always be remembered for her dedication to nursing, her sense of humor, and the love she shared with her family and friends. May her soul rest in peace.
