Michael Lee "Mike" Fletcher, 72, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 22, 2026, following an extended illness.
Mike was born to Voleen and the late Kenneth Fletcher on March 2, 1953, in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He was a 1971 graduate of Unaka High School. Mike was an avid sportsman and enjoyed Tennessee football as well as boating and fishing. He was known for his infectious smile and his devotion to family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Voleen Fletcher, he is survived by his siblings, Kenneth Fletcher, Jr., Theresa Baumgardner, and David (Kathy) Fletcher. Also surviving are his three children, Elaine Fletcher of Jonesborough, Heather (Gabe) Whisnant of Forest City, NC, and Christopher (Tyleah) Fletcher of Johnson City, as well as a granddaughter, Justice Deese of Johnson City, and several nieces and nephews.
No services have been planned at this time.
