Maxine D. Johnson departed this life November 28, 2024. A celebration of life service will be conducted Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 12:30pm from Friendship Baptist Church, Johnson City TN. The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Mt Home National Cemetery, Mt Home TN. Professional service and care of Ms. Maxine D. Johnson and family are entrusted to Birchette Mortuary & Cremation Service Inc. (423) 926-6013

She was a beautiful Godly Lady. She was so sweet and kind. I worked with her. She never knew a stranger and you sure didn´t run over her. But she would put them down with kindness. I had lost touch when she retired and I loved her so much. I can tell you she got her Angel Wings. May God give peace and comfort to her family and friends. Goodbye my friend we had some good times together at Work. She knew me as Teresa Benfield.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I like to leave on afterglow of smile when life is done. I'd like to leave on echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories we all had together. Each and everyone of you all will hold your head up .
When you are around water feel her presence.
