Mary Virginia Parker, 90, left this world to be with her Heavenly Father on February 13, 2024.
She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and lived in Johnson City, TN for more than sixty years. She was the daughter of the late Edd and Sally Gouge.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald (Herman) Parker. They were married for over fifty years. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Boones Creek Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by grandson, Donald Dillon (Heather); daughters, Amy Willis (Jonathan), Donna Parker, and Deborah Dillon, all of Johnson City; great grandchildren, Eli, Emily, and Ethan; sister, Lois Street, and many nieces and nephews.
Mary devoted her life to family and helping others. She was a treasure and will be dearly missed.
The family of Mary Parker will receive friends from 12:00 PM till 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Tetrick Funeral Services in Johnson City, TN. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jason Royston officiating. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 2:00 PM at Washington County Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
