Lois Faye Hall Knight January 17, 1940 - April 13, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - Lois Faye Hall Knight, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born January 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Frank & Edna Rosenbaum Hall in Johnson City, where she lived most of her life.
Lois embodied the very essence of a life lived for others. She leaves indelible footprints etched in the hearts of all who knew her. She rejoins her beloved husband of 40 years, George Wayne Knight, in the Kingdom of Heaven, alongside her son Allen Knight & his wife Janice, and sisters Barbara Ann Hall and Louise Trina Hall, who preceded her in the passage to glory.
Lois's lineage is a living testimony to her love and nurturing spirit. Her children Larry Knight (Lisa), George Wayne Knight, Jr. (Katrina), Shirley Jean Knight-Jones (Palmer), Rodney James Knight, Barbara Knight-Jones (Orben), and Sarah "Chrissy" Knight-Babb (Ryan) carry forward her legacy of unconditional love. Her sister Mary Ruth Moore (Arlos), remains among us to hold dear the memories of their shared laughter and love.
Lois was blessed with 12 grandchildren Billy, Tim, Rachel, Daniel, Trevor, Kaitlin, John, Jacob, Mia, David, Truman, and Noah all nurtured by her love and 12 great-grandchildren Josh, Alyssa, Victoria, Klarissa, Madison, Autumn, Gabriel, Kailey, Elisha, Ava, Parker, and Rowen. She was also blessed with many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
A cornerstone of her life was her unwavering dedication to the Lord. For nearly a decade, Lois served devoutly at the Jonesborough Baptist Church. Her hands, ever ready to serve, found purpose and fellowship among The Harbor Light Ladies sewing circle, where she stitched together more than quilts she wove a fabric of camaraderie and faith.
Lois was a loving, faith-filled, and selfless soul.
