Larry Burleson Obituary
Larry Dale Burleson of Jonesborough, TN passed away on November 13th, 2025. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth.
He was predeceased by Paternal grandparents William Sanford Burleson and Susan Elizabeth Wiseman. Maternal grandparents were Leason Carol Gragg and Dora Belle Bean. Parents were Robert Mitchell Burleson and Eleanor Virginia Gragg. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Sandy Gaddy Burleson and "special" son Mike Rossbach. His brothers Kerry M Burleson, Steven W Burleson, Gary D. Burleson (Twin) and Bobby R. Burleson and sisters Glenda Burleson Couch and Gail Burleson Parker Larry attended Crossnore and Newland NC elementary schools Graduated from Science Hill High School in 1965, and graduated from Steed College, Johnson City, TN. He served his country in the US Navy and retired from Nuclear Fuel Services Erwin TN after 40+ years. He was an elder at Westside Christian Church and was active in teaching Sunday school and serving in Parrish life. His passion and hobby was family genealogy research.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday December 6th at 1:00 PM at Westside Christian Church - 1405 Persimmon Ridge Rd. Jonesborough TN 37659
