L.V. Basinger Obituary
L.V. Basinger, age 94, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Basinger; sons, Michael Denton Basinger, Lonnie Lee Basinger; sisters, Lucille Dyke and Inis Walton.
He is survived by his sons, Gary (Jeanette) Basinger of Telford, Donnie (Rhonda) Basinger of Limestone; daughter, Jeannie (Bert Allen) Basinger of Johnson City; grandchildren, Chris (Monté) Basinger, Jeri (Travis) Hathaway, Nikki (Chris) Lee, Jarrod Slagle, Bobbie McGrew, Ashley Basinger, Jordon Basinger; special friend, Janice Lewis of Parrottsville; along with several other great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers, Chris Basinger, Dakota Basinger, Jarrod Slagle, Jordan Basinger, Camdyn Basinger.
The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Cathy Downs officiating.
