GRAY - Karen "Nanna K" Smith was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and friend to many. She was a talented cosmetologist who truly loved her work and loved her clients. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family get togethers. She loved live music and local festivals. She loved showing off her grandchildren and relished their accomplishments. To know her was to love her and she will be missed.
Karen is survived by her mother, Joan Edwards; her husband, David Smith; her son Deven Smith and wife Leah and their children, Titus, Lily, Hudson, Bonnie, Teddy, and Julia; her daughter, Megan Leathers and husband, Daniel and their children, Charlotte, Sophie, Isla, and Margot; her brothers, Terry Edwards and wife Diane, Mark Edwards, and Randy Edwards and wife Shelah; other beloved family members including, Evelyn Smith, Debbie and Don Shell, Darryl and Kim Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Tetrick Funeral Services. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Jody Jenkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any local food bank in Karen's honor.
