Joyce was a wonderful friend. She was always cheerful and enjoyed doing whatever we came up with. We especially loved going to movies, and she would go to dark and edgy movies, but she was most fond of romantic comedies. When I saw that Meg Ryan was directing a movie coming out this fall, I thought how much Joyce would love it. While she was older than us, we didn’t feel differently toward her, because primarily she was our friend. She will be missed.

Gary, I am so sorry about Joyce. I loved her so much. She truly was a jewel. She was so good to Dan, although sometimes I´m sure she could have pinched off his head. Her family was her life and she talked if you guys often. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
