Jonathan Lyons 56, of Seymour, TN, Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, and Friend to many went home to walk with the Lord on Monday, August 11th of 2025. He had a huge smile and an infectious laugh that would light up any room. His adventurous and outdoor spirit loved to be around oceans, rivers, creeks and waterfalls. He enjoyed traveling and discovering beach and mountain destinations with his family. He enjoyed backpacking, hiking, deep sea fishing, mountain biking, parachuting, Jeep rides with his dog, camping and fishing with his friends and family. He was a well-loved volunteer girls' soccer coach for many years in the Seymour area. He helped friends, neighbors and colleagues without hesitation. He was the successful owner of 360 Surveying & Mapping for over 20 years in Seymour. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who supported him, his family and their business over the years, especially the ones who continued the past few years after his accident.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lyons; and brother, Jeffrey Lyons; grandparents, Robert E. and Essie Lyons, Akard and Alice Sell.

Jonathan is survived by his wife of 30 years, Darci Lyons; son, Riley Lyons and wife, Emma; daughter, Kelsi Lyons; mother, Jane Sell Lyons Johnston; brothers, Steve Lyons and wife, Shelley, and Bobby Lyons; sisters-in-law, Kerri Lyons and Crystal Lyons; nieces and nephews, Lauren and Luke Jennings, Julian and Erin Lyons, Austin Lyons, Whitney and Chris Knee, Rachel and Felipe Pimentel, Rebecca and Davi Pereira, Jacob and Alison Lyons; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of loving extended family members and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM Monday, August 18th with the Memorial Service to follow at 6 PM at Atchley's Seymour Chapel, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865, with Pastor Levi Sanders officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
