Jerry Michael Chamblee, February 2, 1954, passed into the arms his Lord, Jesus Christ on May 25, 2025.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wendy Chamblee, his son, William Chamblee, and his sister, Malinda Sellers of Brook Haven, MS. He was born in Meridian, MS to Mr. Castle H. Chamblee and Mrs. Louise Chamblee. He was retired from the United States Air Force in April 1995 after 22 years of honorable service. He was employed with National Guardian Life Insurance of Bristol, VA, for 15 years. He graduated from East Tennessee State University with Bachelor Degrees in Business and Computer Science. He was a leader in Boy Scout Troop 48 and a member of Order of the Arrow. He was a resident of the James H. Quillen Veterans Administration Medical Center, Community Living Center, Mountain Home, TN. The care he received was superior and I am so grateful to the staff and providers for their care.

A committal service with military honors will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the historic site of Mountain Home National Cemetery, 53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684. Pastor Chris Brown of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church will officiate. Those attending should arrive by 1:50 PM.
