JOHNSON CITY - Jeffrey Allen Laws, 57, Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at his residence.
Jeff was a native of Johnson City and a son of the late Larry Laws and Imogene Barnes Crum.
Jeff was very down to Earth. He enjoyed stargazing, looking at the moon, and watching western shows. Jeff was a great provider for his family. His family was everything to him, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Jeff was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his significant other, Cathy Peters; sons, Timmy Peters, Stormy Peters; brother, Jerry Laws (Melissa); sister, Kim Fitzgerald (Alfred), Priscilla Simms; half-brother, Wade Crum; stepbrother, Jimmy Bowman; grandchildren, Graysin Peters, Aiven Peters, Sophie Peters, Maleah Peters; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service for Jeff will be conducted Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. from the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Chaplain Stephen Spell, officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Johnson City. Pallbearers will be chosen from friends and family.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 P.M. in the East Parlor of the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Appalachian Funeral Home to help with final expenses for Jeff.
