May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

Dear Gibbs Family, the Brown family in Jonesborough would like to give our condolences in the passing of your precious Jim. What a blessing he was to my Father and friend of the family. We miss him. What a blessing he was. Dad calls him his brother. What a blessing.

Jim played keys in a little jazz trio we had. Old Gershwin, Cole Porter, Louis Armstrong we covered and he had such a hoot playing. I played bass. We had such fun jamming. He was a very kind and interesting individual!

My sympathies to the Gibbs family. Jim was a special friend and golf buddy to my step-father, Bill Fletcher. They played golf and shared many laughs together while on the greens of The Crossings and other courses in NE Tennessee. Jim was always willing to lend his expertise and help Bill with emergent home repairs. My mother always enjoyed when Jim visited as he would always grant her request to play a song on the piano before he would leave. Jim honored my mother and our family by playing beautiful hymns on the piano at Bill's funeral in 2006. Jim will always be fondly remembered as an example of a true friend. God blessed our family through Jim. Peace and comfort through Jesus Christ to yours. Jo Clark
