ELIZABETHTON - Jackie Wiseman, Elizabethton, our beautiful songbird gained her angel wings on September 22. She is in the arms of her Saviour, the day she has prepared for all her life. She is now singing in Heaven with her beloved friend Ricky Burchette and brother-in-law Buddy Wiseman. She is breathing with a new set of lungs and struggling no longer. She has joined her special friends Charlotte Pruitt and Carolyn Bunton.
A wonderful wife and mother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life on this earth.
She is the founding member of the southern gospel group Sounds Of Victory. Jackie has traveled and spread God's word for many years. She has touched countless lives and has always been a blessing everywhere she has gone. A humble soul, she was never boastful or prideful and always put others before herself. She has never met a stranger and showed love and compassion to everyone.
This earth was certainly a better place because she existed. The great loss that will be felt on earth cannot compare to the great celebration there will be in Heaven.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Stacy and Lillian Turnmire Hicks, brother Bill Anderson, brother-in-law Buddy Wiseman.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Howell Wiseman.
A daughter Jennifer Earp and Scotty. Bonus daughters Frances Miller and Teddy. Wanda Hunter.

Mrs. Jackie was such a light in a dark world. Her humor and resilience in sickness astounded me. I wish I could´ve known her longer but I´m thankful to have known her the short time I did. My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends. I know she will be missed.
