Irene Dunn Jordan August 18, 1931- April 9, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - Irene Dunn Jordan, 92, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
A lifelong resident of Johnson City, Irene was born on August 18, 1931, to the late Clinton and Jane Dunn. She married Jasper Jordan on August 18, 1951, and together they had three children. She was a devoted homemaker and a doting grandmother. She was an excellent cook. Her family will always cherish her festive treats and a table full of food at Christmas time. Her family will forever remember her as a devoted mother and grandmother whose priority was always taking care of her family.
She was an active member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church. She loved children and she was a volunteer in the nursery and participated in vacation bible school.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Jordan; son, Jeffrey Jordan; and six siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephanie Kershaw; son, Mark (Sherry) Jordan; grandsons, Shawn and Aaron Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public services.
