Glenna Hunt passed peacefully at the age of 82 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2025. She was born in Saltville, VA on September 20, 1943.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Lee Overbay, sister, Dorothy Owens, and aunt Mary Crenshaw. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mabel Hunt, and father-in-law Beryle Hunt, Sr., as well as her brother-in-law, M. Dwight Hunt. Other special family members include her late Aunt Mildred and Uncle Bill Lee and their six children, with whom she was very close growing up.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Beryle Campbell Hunt, Jr., her daughter, Erin Campbell Hunt Kepley (Mitchell), and her granddaughters Katarina and Morgan Kepley. Other survivors include her sister, Joyce Jaudon and her children, uncle Paul (Ella) Lee, sister-in-law, Nancy Simmons, niece Robin Adams (Rob), and nephews, Troy, Chad, and Justin (Jamie) Hunt.

Glenna enjoyed sharing conversations with loved ones, reading, shopping, and watching UT football games. She served as a caregiver throughout her life and provided unconditional love as a devoted wife and adoring mother. She was a loyal follower of Christ and attended both Valley View Methodist Church and Fairview Methodist Church more recently. She enjoyed music and sang in the church choir for many years. When she was unable to attend in person, she often continued her worship by phone through the Friends in Christ Sunday School class.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Johnson City Internal Medicine, Avenue Home Care, and Gentiva Hospice, with special thanks to Nurse Keith Greene, for their care and support.

Visitation will be held at Fairview Methodist Church, Saturday, November 29th, beginning at 11am with a memorial service at 12pm., led by Pastor Randall Emmert and Greg Davis. A graveside service will immediately follow. Afterward, family and friends are invited to stay for food and fellowship.
