Glenna Lee Blankenship Crain

ERWIN - Glenna Lee Blankenship Crain, age 94, of Erwin, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Erwin and a daughter of the late C.L. "Fate" Blankenship and Eugenia Crain Blankenship.
Glenna was formerly employed at National Casket Company, Industrial Garment and Texas Instruments. She was a meticulous homemaker who took great pride in her home and her yard. Glenna was an exceptional cook making sure her family was always fed very well. She loved her family dearly and treasured spending time with them.
Glenna grew beautiful flowers and took great pleasure in tending them. In her younger years she liked to crochet. Glenna was an excellent storyteller who was always willing to share her stories with others.
She was a member of Fishery Community Church. Glenna was a faithful Christian woman who loved Jesus dearly. She read her Bible daily and took great comfort in God's word.
In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Crain on November 26, 2007; daughter-in-law, Nina Crain; brothers: Joseph, Dallas, Paul and Homer Blankenship; sisters: Doris Butler, Fannie Fender, Elva Blankenship, Grace Blankenship and Nola Johnson.
Glenna leaves behind to cherish many precious memories, her son, Eddie Crain of Erwin; two grandsons: Dwayne Crain of Crossville, Scott Crain and his wife, Marsha of Erwin; five great grandchildren: Jensen Foster and husband, Dennis, Alli Crain and husband, Dawson, Britten Crain and fiancé, Raquel Unger, Katie Balaicius and husband, Isayah, Caleb Crain and fiancé, Emily Foster; great-great grandchildren: Taetum Foster, Hollis Foster, Bentley Crain, baby Crain on the way, and baby Eden Harris on the way; brother, Bud Blankenship and wife, Mary; sister, Patsy B. Church; special nieces: Jennifer Briggs and Martha Pate; numerous other nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of Glenna's wonderful neighbors who were like family to her: Don, Jennie Lou, and Mike Ruble, Terry and Kathy Bailey, Gary and Betty Chandler, the Boyd family. Also, they greatly appreciate her special church friends: Tonya Buchanan and Larry Norris.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Evergreen Mausoleum. Reverend Craig Shelton will officiate. Music will be provided by Pastor Art Gibson. Glenna's family will serve as pallbearers: Eddie Crain, Dwayne Crain, Scott Crain, Caleb Crain, Isayah Balaicius, Britten Crain and Bud Blankenship. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the mausoleum by 10:50 a.m. on Monday.
