Eugenia Anne Weir

July 26, 1938 - December 16, 2024

Eugenia Anne Weir, 86, passed away on December 16, 2024 after a lengthy illness in Knoxville, TN. Anne was born on July 26, 1938 in Jackson, TN where she spent much of her life before retirement and relocation closer to family in East TN. She spent a lifetime devoted to her family and friends and was a dedicated and reliable employee of Metropolitan Life and Jackson National Bank. She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson as well as Wesley Memorial United Methodist in Johnson City. Anne was an avid reader, enjoyed travel, watching baseball and chatting with lifelong best friends Joanne Harris and Kay McKee. Anne is survived by her two sons, Keith Weir of Knoxville, and Kris Weir (Krystal), two grandsons Kyler Weir and Kaden Weir of Johnson City, as well as her sister-in-law Joan Vandiver of Jackson. She was predeceased by her father John D. Vandiver, Sr, mother Eva C. Vandiver and brother John D. Vandiver, Jr.
