Dorothy Pauline Millhorn, 84, went to be with her Lord on October 11, 2023. She was born in Johnson City, TN on October 8, 1939. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Wayne Millhorn. They are finally reunited after 33 years of separation. Dorothy loved gardening, talking on the front porch with neighbors and showing off her flower beds, and reading her Bible; most of all, she loved her grandsons, Peyton and Wes.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Irene Dugger and two brothers, Ed Dugger and Charlie Dugger. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons; Terry Millhorn, 57, of Blountville, TN and Michael Millhorn, 56, of Simpsonville, SC; two grandsons, Peyton Millhorn. 26, and wife, Rachel, of Gray, TN, and Wesley Millhorn, 24 of Unicoi, TN; great-granddaughter, Emory Millhorn; two sisters, Jean Wilson and husband Robert; and Mary Ragan, and one brother, James Dugger and wife, Evelyn.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00pm in the Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Blountville, TN. A service will follow at 7:00pm officiated by Pastor David Dugger. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park in Blountville.
