JOHNSON CITY, TN/BIG STONE GAP, VA -Dolores Ann Harrison 86, passed away Monday April 17 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Born May 14, 1936 in Johnson City, Tennessee, she headed to DC at 18 to work in FBI offices before returning home to marry and have her son.
She later worked at Leon Farenbach, retiring after 33 years there as Personnel Manager. She belonged to First Presbyterian Church, Johnson City TN.
"Dee" was a proud member of Mensa and loved trying out new technology, house boating on Watauga Lake, University of Tennessee football, reading, musicals, and witty conversation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis Lucille and Howard Van Dyke and her son, Scott Harrison.
Remembering her are Kevin Snapp and wife Jenny and many other cherished friends and extended family. Special thanks to Heritage Hall, Big Stone Gap for all the years of love, laughs, and care shared.
