JONESBOROUGH - Dianne Bowen Casey, of Jonesborough, TN passed away Wednesday August 21, 2025 at JCMC with family by her side.
She was born November 2, 1947 to Richard and Doris Bowen of Decatur, GA.
She was a long time member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church and a light to all around her. She always had a smile on her face and always brought out the best in those around her. Her love for gardening and bird watching was only surpassed by her love for her family and friends.
She loved planning family get togethers, and always made sure to bring her famous onion bread. She was always there for people in need and was one of the most loving people you could ever meet.
She is survived by her sister Delores Ziegler, brother Donny Bowen, daughter Melissa Scism, son Rodney Casey, her favorite son-in-law Loyd Scism, her favorite daughter-in-law Jennifer Casey, many grandchildren, great-children, nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life Sunday, August 31st, starting at 3:30pm. It will be held at the home of Rodney & Jennifer Casey, 238 Cherry Grove Rd., Jonesborough, TN. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the pantry at Cherry Grove Babtist Church, 104 Cherry Grove Rd, Jonesborough, TN 37659.
