Delores Simerly Obituary
HAMPTON - Delores Stevens Simerly, 90, Hampton passed away, Saturday, November 18,
2023 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born April 23, 1933 in Carter County to the late Montie G. & Bonnie Roark Stevens. Delores was a 1951 graduate of Hampton High School. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vaughn Simerly, Sr, and a son Vaughn Simerly, Jr.. She was a Free Will Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law: Teresa and Joey McNeil. A
daughter-in-law: Julia Simerly. Two Grandsons: Keith McNeil and Justin Simerly. A Sister-In-Law: Parlee Simerly.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jim Holtsclaw officiating. Active Pallbearers will be: Keith McNeil, Justin Simerly, Joey McNeil, Wayne Johnson, Edward Simerly
and Jamie McKinney. Honorary Pallbearers will be: John L. McKinney and Elwood Simerly. The family would like to express a special thank you to Lori McKinney Watson. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m.
Friday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Stevens Cemetery. Condolences may be send to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
