JONESBOROUGH - Christine Mabel Cox, a long-time resident of Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the age of 72, surrounded by her husband and children.
Christine was born on October 27, 1951 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to the late Daniel Dolbow and Aleyn Tobias Dolbow. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Cathy Ann Wadford and Jackie Cupples, sister-in-law, Jane Payne and brother-in-law, Bob Cox.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry Cox; three daughters, Lisa Wear, Brittany Cox, and Jessica Landers (Brandon); one son, Lewis Cox (Candi); sister, Judy Dolbow; grandchildren, Meghan Love, Emily Love, Taylor Wear, Lindsay Wear, Eily Cox and Gracyn Landers; great-grandchildren, Lukas Givens, Jasper Givens, and EmMareigh Givens; sister-in-law, Judy Morrow; brother-in-law, Jack Cox (Renee); and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00pm, Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Lester Morelock officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30-6:00pm, Thursday prior to service.
