Carmen Cooper Obituary

Carmen Ann Cooper

August 6, 1955 -

February 24, 2025

Carmen Ann Cooper went to go be with Jesus on February 24, 2025 at 69 years old. She was born in Ohio to the late Tony and Elizabeth Seghetti, and was widowed by the late Joe Cooper Sr.

Mom was strong, energetic, and feisty, and loved to argue most of the time. But toward the end of her life, she became a different person, learning to forgive, let go and embrace the life God gave her. She began putting all of her faith and trust into Jesus Christ and He turned all of her sadness into joy and all of her anger into peace and forgiveness. That helped her see that not only is He with us, but He is for us. Anyone that knew Mom, knew she was never going to change or that it would take a miracle. Well, God showed up!! The changes in her were very profound and we are so very thankful that we can have peace of mind knowing she's in heaven with our dad/papaw.

Mom leaves behind her children, Joe and Sarah. Her grandchildren, Zeke, Emma, Elijah, Aiden, and Nikolai. And her brother, Tony.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Moms journey and the peace she found. Her life, marked by the discovery of joy and release from past burdens, will be remembered as a testament to the power of faith and forgiveness.
