Brenda Ann Myers

March 15, 1952 - January 16, 2025

ELIZABETHTON - Brenda Ann Myers, age 72, of Elizabethton, died Thursday January 16, 2025, in the Hillview Rehabilitation Center, following a brief illness. Brenda was born March 15, 1952 in the old Johnson City Memorial Hospitaland she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Elvie Davis Jones. Brenda was a 1970 graduate of Happy Valley High School where her senior year she was Miss Happy Valley High School. After high school Brenda went on to graduate from Steed College. She was a very successful drug representative for Smith Kline Beecham for many years. Brenda, through her love of antiques, greeted and welcomed people at Duck Crossing in downtown Elizabethton for many years.

Brenda was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Meadows Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny Jones, Jr. in 1967.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, Richard Myers of the home and her son, Matthew Blake Myers of Elizabethton.

A committal service for Brenda will be held at 1:00 PM at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Hughes officiating. Active pallbearers will be; Matthew Myers, Lanny Norris, David Bass, Ryan Curtis, Richard Culver, and Matt Campbell.

The family, minister, pallbearers and friends will meet at the funeral home and go into procession to the cemetery at 12:30 PM.
