BUTLER - Boyd E. Dunn, age 83, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 in Franklin Woods Hospital. He was born February 9, 1941 in Mountain City, Tennessee to the late Cecil Dunn and Mary Dunn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Bridgette Dunn; sister, Jean Jennings and two brothers, Lane Dunn and Robert Dunn.

Boyd was a building contractor. He enjoyed investing in real estate, a good game of rook and had a love for classic cars.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Shirley Dunn; daughter, Brenda Glasgow (Tim); sons, Victor Dunn, Ronnie Dunn and Greg Dunn; grandchildren, Timothy Glasgow, Sloane Dunn, Justine Dunn, Aria Shepherd, Brooklynne Arevalo and Josh Dunn, Zach Dunn, Casey Dunn and Tyler Sluder; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Lisa Poteet, Larry Dunn, Brandon Dunn, Carol Perkins, Randy Glenn, Judy Walker, Willie Dunn and Phillip Dunn and lifetime friend, Harry Tignor.

Funeral service for Boyd will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, October, 28, 2024 at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Tom Reece officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside and interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
