ELIZABETHTON - Ann Hale Ornduff of Elizabethton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital in Johnson City. Ann was born in Carter County to the late Beamer and Frances Merritt Hale. In addition to her parents, Ann as also preceded in death by a brother, C.M. "Mike" Hale; and a nephew, Todd Hale.
Ann had worked as a sales counselor at Happy Valley Memorial Park and as a bookkeeper for Ornduff Refrigeration Services. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Elizabethton. Ann enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Dr. Courtney Evans.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Ornduff of the home; three daughters, Pamela "Pam" L. Ornduff of Franklin, Mona G. Ornduff Evans of Elizabethton, TN and Kelly L. Dale and husband Albert Dale of Spring Hill, TN, her granddaughter, Dr. Courtney Evans of Hanover, PA; two step granddaughters, Hannah Hinton and husband Harrison of Hendersonville, TN and Mary Ashley Dale of Madison, TN; two great granddaughters, Grace Hinton and Violet Hinton; a nephew, Mark Hale of Elizabethton; and her goddaughter, Ashley Tetrick of Johnson City;
The committal and entombment service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Kenneth Jordan officiating. Music will be provided by Jamie Schaff. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park at 12:50 PM on Saturday.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations in memory of Ann to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
