JONESBOROUGH - Thomas Ornduff, 91, Jonesborough, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, November 3, 2024 in the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. Thomas was born in Carter County, March 21, 1933 to James and Cathaline Vermillion Ornduff. He had a 43 year career with WJHL-TV. He served in the United States Army.he was an Amateur Radio Entusiast. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Lorene Treadway, Nancy Barns and Hershell Ornduff. He loved his family, grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years: Emma Lee Henson Ornduff. Son: Thomas Ornduff, Jr (Kim). Grandson: Eric Ornduff (Elizabeth). Granddaughter: McKenzie Ornduff. Great Grandchildren: Aniyah, Hazel, Draylen, Madison, Cypress and Malia. Sister: Carolyn Gouge and his special niece: Cindy Berry. His special friends: Danny & Linda Bacon.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2024 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bryant Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Bill McCall. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Henson and Troy Berry. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour at 2 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site
