Patricia M. Schorr, 77, of Irwin, died on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, in the Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading. She was born on March 10, 1948, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Evcic) Nalepa. She spent her childhood growing up and attending St. Aloysius School in Wilmerding. She graduated from beauty school and worked as a beautician for several years in Monroeville. Patti spent most of her life as a homemaker and later as a caregiver for her husband, Tom. Patti actively attended Mass at Immaculate Conception Church and was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America. Patti enjoyed spending time outside tending to her home and property. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Schorr Jr.; a brother, Thomas; and a sister, Mary Jane Nalepa. She is survived by her son, Jason (Jennifer) Schorr, of
Temple, PA; sisters, Judy (Ron) Mondy, of
Akron, OH, and Francine (Bob) Comito, of
Harrison City, PA; special sister, Theresa (Pat) McClaine, of
White Oak, PA; the following grandchildren: Rachael Shaner, Zachary Shaner, and Blake Schorr; and many nieces and nephews. Patti enjoyed participating in social trips to visit the Starbucks group and bowling with her team at Norwin Lanes. Patti was recently enduring stroke rehab and therapy at Keystone Villa of Fleetwood, where she enjoyed friendships, bingo, and dice games. Patti was very kind, generous, compassionate, and friendly to all whom she encountered, especially the late Father John. A special thanks to Jennifer, Judy, Chrisy, and Scott Smith, Erica Riggle; sister, Judy; and sister, Sandy; and Doug and Barb Mayers for their care and compassion, and Mary Anne Vesley, Eric Mondy, Theresa and Pat, Tom and Regina Stack, and George and Jane Detwiler for lifting Patti's spirits.
