Susan Marro Obituary

Susan Christine Marro, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2025. She was born on April 11, 1959 in Bremerton, Washington to Thomas and Ethel Clark. Susan was a loving, gentle and kind woman, known as the peacemaker of her family. She had a generous spirit and an endless love for her grandchildren, who brought her great joy. Her hands were rarely still-whether she was sewing, crocheting, knitting, or crafting. Susan poured love into everything she made and delighted in sharing her creations with others. She had a natural gift for working with children and they adored her in return. For many years, she served the Central Valley School District as both a playground aide and a bus aide for special needs students-roles she filled with patience, compassion and warmth. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Brian Marro; her children, Christopher (Kristi) Marro, Philip Marro, Daniel Marro, and Brian Marro; and her cherished grandchildren, Evan, Elizabeth, Gabriele and Maia. She is also survived by her sister, Sandy (Mike) Kirkpatrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas L. and Ethel M. Clark, and her sister, Dorothy. Susan will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, creativity and gentle heart will continue to inspire those she loved most.
